Payments
After each session, a brief summary of what was covered will be sent, along with the requested payment amount based on the time spent together. Payment can be made via Venmo using the following link:
Payment for each session, or set of sessions, is requested to be sent within 3 business days following the final session for that week or the day before the first session of the following week, whichever comes first. If payment is not received within this period, a reminder will be sent of the outstanding balance. Should a reminder be sent, there will be an increase of $15 to the sliding scale range request to account for the additional bookkeeping efforts.
Cancelations
If a session is canceled and rescheduled within 24 hours the full payment for the full session will be requested, each slot is exclusively for each client. However, if the tutor cancels within 24 hours, they will offer a free session to accommodate for any inconvenience caused.
Late Arrivals
If a student is running late, they should contact their tutor (e.g. call, text, or email) to inform the tutor that the student is on the way. The tutor will wait 15 minutes for the student. If in that time the tutor has not heard from the student, the session will be cancelled and the student will be charged for the total time scheduled.
Expedited Sessions
To accommodate last-minute availability and ensure flexibility in scheduling, a rate adjustment of an additional $10/hr will be requested to sessions with a final client confirmation within 24 hours of the requested appointment time. This adjustment reflects the added flexibility and effort involved in accommodating short-notice appointments.
